The Challenge:
We were challenged to create a book cover from a limited list of titles. We were also asked to only use original photography for this piece (either that we have personally taken, or for which we personally own the copyright).
The Solution
This was challenging because part of the credit for our grade was the images that were chosen for the piece. At the time, I did not have access to a professional grade camera, but did what I could with a camera phone. The images, were surprisingly very clear and useful.
I chose “The Lady of the Lake” by Sir Walter Scott for two reasons: 1) He is one of my favorite authors; and 2) I have always felt inspired by water, and water-related imagery.
